20 years ago I worked as a lab (analog) assistant and I recall receiving long and detailed instructions from photographers on how to process their photos in the lab. Hours of work were spent in the dark dealing with them, I see no difference whatsoever from spending hours working on a photo with Photoshop. Now things are easier and all the post-processing takes place in a "digital dark room", but that doesn't make digital photography less honest. They are only different processes to accomplish the same goal, make our images look better. Right?
